چکیده
We compare two contest. Decentralized in which there are several independent contests with non overlapping contestants and Centralized in which all contestants ght for a unique prize which is the sum of all prizes in the small contests. We study the relationship between payo¤s and e¤orts between these two contests. Keywords: Centralization, Decentralization, Contests JEL classi cation: C72; D72; D74. In the international aid story lobbying by potential recipient groups attempting to capture the donor’s support play a potentially important role for nongovernmental organizations. This paper is considering the competition between two multi-echelon supply-chains on price and service under balance and imbalance of market power between the chains which are analyzing through Nash and Stackelberg game approach. The problem is categorized as the centralized or decentralized structure of each chain, which means a few different possible scenarios are developing based on the Nash...
متن کاملEfficiency of Target Location Scenarios in the Multi-Transmitter Multi-Receiver Passive Radar
Multi-transmitter multi-receiver passive radar, which locates target in the surveillance area by the reflected signals of the available opportunistic transmitter from the target, is of interest in many applications. In this paper, we investigate different signal processing scenarios in multi-transmitter multi-receiver passive radar. These scenarios include decentralized processing of reference ...
متن کاملLocal vs Global Policies and Centralized vs Distributed Control in Virtual Communities of Agents
We are interested in the design of policies for virtual communities of agents based on the grid infrastructure. In a virtual community agents can play both the role of resource consumers and the role of resource providers, and they remain in control of their resources. We argue that this requirement creates a distinction between two dimensions: global vs local and centralized and decentralized ...

Relationships we have with our friends, family, or colleagues influence our personal decisions, as well as decisions we make together with others. As in human beings, despotism and egalitarian societies seem to also exist in animals. While studies have shown that social networks constrain many phenomena from amoebae to primates, we still do not know how consensus emerges from the properties of ...
